Wasps & Bees control

A wasp nest near a door or a kids’ play area is a real hazard, and European wasps in particular get aggressive. We remove wasp nests safely. Bees we treat differently: they’re vital pollinators, so wherever it’s possible we’ll connect you with a keeper to relocate a swarm rather than destroy it.

Signs you have them

How to tell it’s wasps & bees.

  • A nest under eaves, in the roof, in the ground or in a wall cavity
  • Heavy wasp or bee traffic to one point of the building
  • Aggressive wasps around outdoor eating areas (European wasps)
  • A swarm of bees that has settled on the property
How we treat it

Our approach to wasps & bees.

For wasps, we treat and remove the nest with the right protective gear and an APVMA-registered product, timed to catch the colony. For bees, we assess first: a relocatable swarm we’ll try to get to a keeper; an established hive in a wall is a harder call we’ll talk through honestly. We don’t pretend every bee job is a simple spray.

Safety: Stinging pests are a genuine hazard, so please don’t try to knock a nest down yourself. We handle it with the right equipment. Keep people and pets clear of the area until we’ve finished and advised it’s safe.

Wasps & Bees is treated as part of our general pest treatment service.

Questions, answered

Wasps & Bees, common questions.

Can you save the bees instead of killing them? +
Wherever we can, yes. A freshly arrived swarm is often relocatable, and we’ll try to connect you with a local keeper rather than destroy it. An established hive built into a wall cavity is harder and sometimes can’t be saved, but we’ll always assess and tell you the honest options first.
Is it safe to remove a wasp nest myself? +
We really don’t recommend it. European wasps especially will swarm and sting repeatedly when disturbed, and nests are often bigger than they look. It’s a job for protective gear and the right product, which is exactly what a call-out is for.
How quickly can you come out for a wasp nest? +
Stinging-pest jobs near doors, play areas or high-traffic spots we treat as a priority and aim to get to quickly. Call us and we’ll give you a realistic time rather than a vague promise.
