The Gold Coast pest control that inspects first, not over the phone.

Most pest jobs go wrong before anyone turns up: a price over the phone, a heavy spray, a vague guarantee. We inspect first, name the product on the report, and write down exactly what happens if they come back.

How it runs

What happens next, step by step.

1

Inspection + itemised report

We come out, identify the pest, the entry points and the conditions feeding it, then quote from what we actually find. Not a phone price.

2

The treatment plan

The pest and its severity, the APVMA-registered product and where it goes, the re-entry time and the warranty, all written on the report you keep.

3

Booking, in writing

We confirm the date, the safety steps and the price on letterhead. No surprise call-out fees, no upsell sprung on the day.

4

Treatment day

Interior and exterior treated as planned, child and pet areas handled with care, food surfaces and pet bowls respected and covered.

5

Re-entry + aftercare

The exact drying time before it is safe to go back in, what to wipe and what to leave, and how long before the treatment fully works.

6

Warranty + next inspection

The warranty term and the exact re-service trigger, your certificate, and an honest re-treat date, usually six to twelve months out.

Why our report looks different

The 7-line service report.

The whole category competes on the same words: 100% guarantee, licensed and insured, same-day. None of it is on the report. Here is everything that is on ours.

The 7-line quote
  1. 1 Inspection first. We inspect the property and identify the actual pest, the entry points and the conditions feeding it, before we quote. Never a price over the phone.
  2. 2 Pest + severity named. What you have, how established it is and where it is active, written on the report. Not "general spray, she’ll be right".
  3. 3 Product named + APVMA reg. The exact APVMA-registered product and where it goes, named on the report. Child and pet safe once it has dried.
  4. 4 Re-entry + safety window. The exact drying and re-entry time, usually two to four hours, and what to wipe and what to leave afterwards.
  5. 5 Warranty term + re-service trigger. The warranty term and the exact trigger: active inside the term and we re-treat free, no six-week wait, no excuses.
  6. 6 Timber-pest check. Termites and timber pests flagged as their own line, because home insurance does not cover termite damage. An AS 4349.3 inspection or AS 3660 barrier if you need one.
  7. 7 Certificate + next inspection. The record of products applied, your certificate, and the honest re-treat date, most homes every six to twelve months.
If a quote doesn’t show these lines, you can’t compare it, and you don’t know what’s been cut.

Cowboy tells

  • Price quoted over the phone, sight unseen
  • “General spray, she’ll be right”
  • “It’s safe, don’t worry”, no product named
  • “Stay out for a while”
  • “100% guarantee”, then “wait six weeks”
  • Termites never mentioned
  • Cash job, no paperwork
What if they come back

The one thing the cheap quote will not write down.

The worst pest-control stories all end the same way: pests back in weeks, told to wait, then nobody answers. Our warranty states the term and the exact trigger.

The pest is active again, inside the warranty term.
The vague “100% guarantee”
  1. !“Give it six weeks for the poison.”
  2. !“Now wait another three weeks.”
  3. The call gets hung up.
Still infested. Still paying.
A written trigger
  1. It’s on the report: active in term.
  2. We re-treat, free. No waiting period.
  3. Same technician, same product.
Sorted. No argument.
Honest scope

We’ll tell you which service you actually need, not the biggest job we can sell you.

Most common

General pest treatment

Cockroaches, ants, spiders and silverfish. Interior and exterior, with the warranty written on the report.

Right when: crawling pests, regular or first signs.
Wrong when: the problem is rodents or termites.
$180 – $350
Rodents

Rodent program

Mice and rats: trapping and baiting plus finding and sealing the entry points, so they do not just come back.

Right when: droppings, noises in the roof, gnawing.
Wrong when: crawling insects only.
$250 – $450
Termites

Termite inspection

A full timber-pest inspection and written report to AS 4349.3: active termites, damage, and the conditions that invite them.

Right when: annual check, or you have seen mud trails.
Wrong when: you just need a barrier installed.
$250 – $500
Termites

Termite management

A chemical or physical termite barrier installed to AS 3660, with the certificate and the 12-month plus annual-inspection cover.

Right when: active termites, or protecting a home for good.
Wrong when: you only need the inspection first.
$3,000 – $5,000
Buying

Pre-purchase inspection

An AS 4349.3 timber-pest report before you buy, so termite damage is the seller’s problem, not yours.

Right when: buying, often inside a cooling-off period.
Wrong when: you already own and just need treating.
$350 – $660
Before you call anyone

Work out the service, then see the range.

Two quick tools, no email wall, nothing stored: the service aid tells you whether you need a general treatment, a rodent program or a termite inspection, then the estimator gives an indicative band and decodes what a real quote for that job should itemise. Neither is a quote. Both end in a proper inspection.

Warranty in writing

Three layers, and what each one covers.

Layer 01

Our service warranty

Active inside the term and we re-treat free, no waiting period. General treatments carry 12 months; the exact term and triggers are written on your report.

Layer 02

Product / APVMA

We only use APVMA-registered products, applied as directed. The product and its registration number are named on your report, so you know exactly what was used.

Layer 03

Statutory (ACL)

Reasonable care and skill, and a service fit for purpose, under Australian Consumer Law. Always applies, on top of the two layers above.

“We had cockroaches back two weeks after a cheap spray from someone else. Nathan found the harbourage the other mob missed and it has been clear since. Wish we’d called him first.”

“Mud trails in the patio had us terrified. They inspected to the standard, found it early, and explained the barrier without any scare tactics. Calm and professional.”

Watch this before you book

The seven questions every homeowner asks, answered once.

Nathan runs through cost, the guarantee, licensing, safety, how long it lasts, termites and DIY. Ten minutes here saves a phone-quote regret.

How much does pest control actually cost? +
For a typical Gold Coast home, a general treatment is usually $180 to $350; a termite inspection $250 to $500; a full termite barrier $3,000 to $5,000. Anything advertised under about $120 is the phone-quote, heavy-spray end we tell people to be wary of. The honest answer is that the price comes from the inspection, not a price list.
Is the guarantee real, what if they come back? +
It is only real if it states a term and an exact trigger, and we write both down. If the treated pest is active again inside the warranty term, we come back and re-treat at no charge. No six-week wait, no being told to call back later.
Are you actually licensed and insured? +
Yes. We hold a Queensland Health pest management licence (QLD PMT-000000) and a QBCC termite licence for termite work, plus public liability to $20M and professional indemnity. We are happy to show all of it. "Licensed and insured" means little until you see which licence and which number.
Do I have to leave the house, and is it safe for my kids and pets? +
For a standard treatment, usually not for long. We use APVMA-registered products and the main rule is to stay off treated surfaces until they dry, usually two to four hours. We name the product and tell you the re-entry time before we start.
How long does it last and how often do I need it redone? +
A general treatment typically holds six to twelve months depending on the pest, the season and how exposed your home is. We give you an honest re-treat date on the report rather than pretending one spray lasts forever.
Do I really need a termite inspection, is it worth thousands? +
An inspection is a few hundred dollars, not thousands, and it is the cheapest protection you can buy: termites cause over $1.5 billion of damage a year and your home insurance almost certainly excludes it. A barrier is the bigger spend, and only if the inspection shows you need one. We never sell it with a scare.
